Antitoxin against Fjordman

The blogger Fjordman and his likeminded "islam-critics" built the ideological house the Utøya murderer moved into. Here is antitoxin.

The blogger "Fjordman" was the main source of inspiration for the Utøya murderer.  In his writings, the murderer quotes Fjordman 111 times. Fjordman, alledgedly, sees himself merely as performing academic religious critisism.  But his writings inspires racism and murder.

Unfortunately the "adaptive" search algoritms in places like Google and Amazon are constructed so that if you search for an islamfobic book, the site will suggest a list of similar books and articles. Google and Amazon radicalize the world.

This site works opposite way. When you have written fjordman.no into your browser's address field, you will be exposed to books by authors who belive people from different cultures and religions can live peacefully side by side.

Even those who disagree, might find it useful to know how the other side argues.

So one of the things I wanted to do in my book is explain what is historical, what is traditional and what is divinely mandated'

Rock the Casbah

By Robin Wright

"When the longtime Middle East reporter Robin Wright’s last book, “Dreams and Shadows,” was published in 2008, her assessment — that “a budding culture of change” and empowerment had begun to permeate the region — was greeted as wildly optimistic. Three years later, given the wave of uprisings that began within the past year in Tunisia and Egypt and that has continued to roll through the Middle East, her views now seem extremely prescient."
